How to install a new danfoss OMP 32/50 motor

1) Run in prior to use

Please ensure replacement motors are run in for 15 to 20 minutes (at low revs) before being used for heavy work.

2) Allow a gap between the coupling

When setting up the coupling on a motor / spinner shaft it is extremely important that a 2-3mm gap is allowed between the coupling halves. This is to prevent end thrust on the motor shaft from damaging the motor.

3) Movement in spinner disks

 Over time, if you notice movement in the spinner discs, the bearing will need tightening by adjusting the nyloc nut. Make sure the gap between the coupling halves is still maintained.
